Dr. Licari's entire career has been dedicated to veterinary emergency and critical care. Even before starting veterinary school Dr. Licari worked as a technician in an emergency hospital in New York. After graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992, Dr. Licari returned to emergency medicine, eventually becoming board certified in emergency and critical care.
Dr. Licari is co-director of the emergency and critical care department at the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center.
As a founding partner of Horizon Veterinary Services Dr. Licari has played a vital role in the development of each and every one of Horizon's hospitals.
